Yesterday was my favorite holiday of the year for a good reason.
Every July 4th weekend we have multiple events in our neighborhood that bring together families and their friends all in the name of gratitude.
It’s so amazing to see our neighbors from different cultures, countries, and backgrounds celebrate together. From sitting outside in our common area watching the fireworks show, to kids running around playing together, to everyone riding their bikes in our parade that’s led by our local fire and police departments – people display gratitude for one another.
Gratitude is free, and the best part is, showing gratitude often creates more gratitude.
So, here’s what I’m encouraging you to do this week. Find one person (or more than one if you like) and tell them why you’re grateful for them.
One small act like that can make a big, lasting impact.
Have a great week, and if you’re interested in watching part of our fireworks finale, you can see it here.
