Looking for a way to boost your recruiting intelligence – and results – this summer?
If you’re one of the coaches coming to this summer’s National Collegiate Recruiting Conference, you’re going to have the opportunity to have experts and fellow coaches from around the country to teach you techniques and strategies that will take your recruiting efforts to new heights for this upcoming recruiting year. In other words, you’re going to leave as a smarter, more confident college recruiter!
We’ll gather in the famous football recruiting meeting room at the Ohio State University, July 16-18, 2019.
Here is the speaker line-up for this year’s big event – register soon, seating is limited:
- Dan Tudor – The founder of Tudor Collegiate Strategies will speak three separate times throughout NCRC 2019, focusing on the latest strategies and techniques he sees helping coaches around the country – and how to implement the best possible strategy for the upcoming recruiting year.
- Tom Koller – This popular NCRC communications expert and speaker, and current associate athletic director, is back to teach coaches more effective recruiting communication techniques, especially when it comes to how to create a connection and bond through the right words and questions.
- Jake Tewart – He just finished his freshman year as a student-athlete at the University of Cincinnati, playing cornerback for the Bearcats’ football team. But what was his recruiting experience like before he got to college? Jake will talk about what coaches did right, and what they did wrong, in an effort to help coaches who are attending NCRC 2019 better understand the mindset of today’s student-athlete.
- Mark Tewart – Yep, this is Jake’s dad – and he also happens to be one of the most respected car sales experts and trainers in the country. He’s a former NCRC speaker alum who returns to the stage this year to deliver his “High Performance Sales” message to coaches (because, Coach, you’re a sales professional who needs to know how to master the art of selling!)
- Jamy Bechler – A NCRC regular, Coach Bechler has become one of the most recognized experts in the area of leadership and team development – in both the athletics and the business worlds. He’ll join us this year to outline the key principles for coaches from his new book, “The Leadership Playbook: Becoming Your Team’s Most Valuable Leader”.
- Tami Matheny – Author of “The Confident Athlete”, this mental game instructor and expert is coming back to NCRC 2019 to share the same principles that work for today’s athletes, but now focusing on coaches, with her talk “The Confident Recruiter”.
- Leslie Huntington – This successful Division III softball coach joins the conversation to present “Silencing the Noise – Setting Them Up for Success”. Coach Huntington has developed one of the best approaches to recruiting and training in the country, and is respected nationally as an expert in her game, which includes a national championship in 2008.
- Mandy Green – A familiar face to veteran NCRC attendees and founder of Busy Coach, Coach Green will bring her expertise to the podium as she talks about “Daily Execution for Recruiting Success”. You’ll want to follow the advice of this widely respected organizational expert!
- Dr. Michael Davenport – Author of the popular coaching website Coaching Sports Today, this former college and Olympic rowing coach joins the conversation to talk about the right way to develop your coaching career plan – and how to avoid the mistakes that many coaches struggle with at the college level.
- Jayson Schmidt – Of all the speakers we had at last year’s conference, Coach Schmidt made one of the biggest impacts with his talk on technology, recruiting, and taking a creative approach that works – no matter what the size of your program is. He returns to the stage this year with more great advice for college coaches, guaranteed to make an immediate impact in next year’s recruiting efforts!
- Timm Dixon – Sometimes, you need the numbers – it’s about quality AND quantity! If that’s your program, this successful men’s basketball coach from the University of the Southwest will go over strategies that he’s used to meet his goals year after year. It’s a numbers game for many coaches, and Coach Dixon will share his expertise on how to meet your goals year in and year out.
- Dr. Tracy Davenport – She’s coming to this year’s NCRC 2019 event to share her expertise and research on sleep deprivation and athletic (and coaching) performance. Healthy living is becoming more and more of a focus for athletic departments around the country, and her background on the subject is gaining national attention.
- Rob Hewitt – A young Division III track and field coach, Rob will step to the podium to share his methods for bringing in talented recruiting classes to a small, pricey liberal arts institution. His talk, “Fish or Cut Bait” will focus on your role as a coach in controlling the overall recruiting process.
- Aaron Boettcher – As an admissions professional with a college basketball coaching background, Aaron always brings a unique perspective to our national conferences. This year, he is bringing strategies learned on the college admissions circuit back to the athletic side, and helping coaches in “Standing Out in the Sea of Sameness”
- Dr. Keith Adams – He’s the President of the CKA SAVE Project, Inc., a non-profit organization designed to assist student-athletes and the people who work with them through educational and professional development. His talk, “Understanding How Academic and Athletic Motivation Can Enhance Recruiting” is based on his research, and will impact your understanding of the mindset of today’s student-athlete.
- Terry Harrison – This small college head football coach will present recruiting ideas that he see’s working to get big time athletes to his program. He’ll be presenting “Make The Big Time Where You’re At”, and it will give you creative approaches that you can take back to your campus and implement this coming year.
- Gray Dorsett & Luck Lechner – These two tech minds are some of the founders of the new recruiting technology platform, Advanced Recruiting Intelligence, that more and more coaches are beginning to use in their recruiting efforts. This, and other, technological tools can be used by college coaches to make their jobs as recruiters more efficient, and more successful. Their talk, “Tech That Every Coach Should Be Using” will give you a great list of resources college coaches are implementing into their approaches.
Plus, we’ll engage in a lot of networking and idea-sharing sessions that will have you heading back to campus with more information than you ever expected!
Register here to attend – and if you can’t be there in person, make sure you reserve access to all the speaker video after the event is done for you and your staff to use throughout the year (note: attendees will receive the full conference video at no additional charge).
See you there, Coach!
