When it comes to telling a better story than other college volleyball programs you’re competing with, I’d recommend you read through this training article – it has helped a lot of coaches better define how to sell their program to both high school and transfer prospects, as well as communicate how they are better than the prospect’s other choices. This is an aspect of high-level recruiting that a lot of programs skip as they go through the process, and the result is nearly always less consistent, more erratic recruiting.
Recruiting timelines – coupled with a fair but firm deadline, defined as far in advance as possible – is the #1 way to change the level of commitments you can get for your program. And yet, most coaches don’t implement this proven approach.
